Fatal crash on I-75 in Tift County

It was reported on Channel 10 WALB News that a teenager was killed early Thursday morning August 12, 2010. The 19-year old female passenger’s name isn’t being released yet. However, the driver, 21-year old Colton Reece wasn’t injured. The accident reportedly occurred when Colton over-corrected the Ford Mustang he was driving in an effort to avoid debris on I-75 expressway. He lost control and struck the side of a tractor trailer, the driver of which was Ramiz Sinanovic of Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was not injured in the crash. The wreck reportedly happened at 1:30 am and police are still investigating the accident.
